2011 National Society Of Film Critics Award Winners

The National Society Of Film Critics apparently speak the truth, once every twelve months. Yes, I think it’s great recognition has been given to The Tree Of Life, Gary Oldman and Margaret, but I can’t say I agree with anyone giving Melancholia the prize for Best Picture. But that’s just me. Check out the full list of winners below: Continue reading

2011 Central Ohio Film Critics Association Award Winners

Central Ohio love Drive. They love Nicolas Winding Refn and Ryan Gosling and I don’t blame them. I just wish more Associations and Societies were brave enough to give it the attention it deserves. Away from Drive’s wins here, check out the Best Actress category and cheeky little wins for Source Code and Hanna. As ever, check out the full list of winners below: Continue reading

2011 Internet Film Critics Society Award Winners

Although Drive isn’t your typical action flick, I’m happy with anyone who gives it recognition, resulting in the IFCS getting some extra brownie points from me before I realise they’ve also rewarded the brilliant Attack The Block. As ever, check out the full list of winners below: Continue reading

We also see Melissa McCarthy pop up once more for Bridesmaids. I’m still a little confused by this… Check out the full list of nominees below: Continue reading

2011 Online Film Critics Society Award Winners

Yes, OFCS, you may collect £200 and pass go. I said last week that I rather loved their nominations and the winners are pretty agreeable too. Swinton and Fassbender’s respective wins are hardly going to upset anybody and it’s great to see The Tree Of Life rein back some of The Artist’s attention. Check out the full list of winners below: Continue reading

2011 Phoenix Film Critics Society Award Winners

Phoenix stick with the general consensus and vote for The Artist, but break the mold a little by giving Best Actress to Elizabeth Olsen. Actually, they loved The Artist. Check out just how much below: Continue reading

2011 Detroit Film Critics Society Award Winners

Boring….. Apart from Fassy winning for Shame. Oh, and Mulligan winning for it too. Good job McQueen. Continue reading
