The National Society Of Film Critics apparently speak the truth, once every twelve months. Yes, I think it’s great recognition has been given to The Tree Of Life, Gary Oldman and Margaret, but I can’t say I agree with anyone giving Melancholia the prize for Best Picture. 2011 Boston Society Of Film Critics Award Winners

Last year the Boston Society of Film Critics gave Juliette Lewis the Best Supporting Actress prize for Conviction. It’s nice to see they’ve kept their originality in a few categories this year. But check out the love for Margaret! Unfortunately there was only one screening of the film and lots of the voters missed out on it. Hopefully this will change come January?
